My girlfriend and I had a major fight a couple of weeks ago and since it was my fault, I apologized to her and begged for her to forgive me. We had fought before but we usually resolve the issues in a day or two but this time, it appears that my girlfriend has taken our issues very seriously so much so that she would not even want to talk to me. I sent flowers and chocolates to her place but all were returned to me through her friends. The last two weeks had been one of the lowliest points in my life and I think I have run out of options of how I can appease her. Common friends tried to intervene but this likewise proved futile. Two days ago, I sent another letter to my girl and apologized again for hurting her feelings. The letter was very dramatic and even consisted of seven pages. Yesterday, I received a letter response from her and that she will give her response as to whether she had forgiven me or not. She said that she will be tying tree ribbons on the tree facing their porch and the color of the ribbon will represent her answer. If the tree ribbons are red then it means she has not yet forgiven me but if I see yellow tree ribbons, then it means she has already forgiven me and can now visit her. I hardly slept on the eve that I was going to get her answer. A red ribbon will surely devastate me while a yellow tree ribbon will be a real blessing. When I got to her house and look for her response, I was overjoyed to see a yellow ribbon. Since then, I have never hurt my girl again.
