One of their events is the Fiber Arts Festivals, July 23 & 24, 2011. It might be hot at the end of July, but who cares, because shopping and browsing fibers and fiber art is indoors in the air conditioning.

It’s a shopping extravaganza with more than 50 vendors showcasing handmade goods including hand painted roving, yarn, felting, spinning, weaving, knitting, and crocheting. Unique vendors with fiber and finished work for sale like sweaters, original lace shawls, hats, mittens, and many more. Any type of fibers those are imaginable.

This is wonderful festivals in Michigan celebrating fiber and artisans who create incredible and beautiful fashion and art for you to enjoy and purchase. It is located at Castle farms, just outside in beautiful Charlevoix. I must admit that it was not what I had expected. The area is a beautiful castle style building on well-manicured grounds.
